Flood Debris Must Be Separated Debris needs to be separated into the following categories: Large Appliances: refrigerator, washer/dryer, air conditioner, stove, water heater, dishwasher Construction: building materials, drywall, lumber, carpet, furniture, plumbing Hazardous Waste: oil, battery, pesticide, pain, cleaning supplies, compressed gas Electronics: television, computer, stereo, phone, dvd player The following items are NOT included as part of Burleigh County's program. Tipping fees will be the responsibility of the resident: Vegetative: tree branches, leaves, logs, plants Household Garbage: bagged garbage, discarded food, paper, packaging

Burleigh County Extends Debris Removal Plan Rural Burleigh County residents may haul flood-related debris to two landfills and Burleigh County will pay the tipping fees through October 31, 2011
- Rural residents will be required to sign their name and address to all loads.
- No trees or household garbage will be accepted for free disposal.
- All loads MUST be separated by debris type:

The Hazardous Waste and Electronics Facility is open 9 AM-2 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays and the first and third Saturday of each month.
DB Waste Management (14108 NW 34th Street) Hours of Operation: 7AM-5PM, Monday-Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday . Hazardous household chemicals not accepted. Containers will be provided for appliances and electronics.

Additional Site opening Monday for Rural Burleigh County Flood Debris
Rural Burleigh County residents may haul flood-related debris to DB Waste Landfill starting Monday, August 29th and Burleigh County will pay the tipping fees. The Bismarck Landfill started on August 22nd and remains available.
- Program runs through September 30, 2011
- Rural residents will be required to sign their name and address to all loads.
- No trees or household garbage will be accepted for free disposal.

Rural Burleigh County Residents can Haul Flood Debris to Bismarck Landfill at no Charge
Rural Burleigh County residents may haul flood-related debris to the City of Bismarck Landfill, and Burleigh County will pay the tipping fees.
- August 22, 2011 thru September 30, 2011
- No trees or household garbage will be accepted for free disposal.
- All loads MUST be separated by debris type such as: construction debris, appliances, electronics, hazardous household chemicals.
- Rural residents will be required to sign their name and address to all loads.
Rural residents may haul flood debris such as carpet, sheetrock, lumber and appliances during regular landfill hours. Electronics and hazardous household chemicals will only be accepted at the landfill on Tuesdays and Thursdays or the 1stand 3rd Saturdays of the month.
Remember no trees or garbage will be accepted.
The Bismarck landfill is open 8AM-6PM, Monday-Friday and 8AM-4PM, Saturday. The Hazardous Waste and Electronics Facility at the landfill is open 9 AM-2 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays and the first and third Saturday of each month.
