Water Gaging Stations

The Burleigh County Highway Department has 14 Water Gaging Stations being monitored by employees, law enforcement and local residents.

Below is a listing of each Water Gaging Station with a brief location description. Click on the Station Number (shown below in brown) to view a more detailed description and a chart showing the observed water level changes at that location.
Station 1 - Located on Lincoln Road, approximately 1/2 mile east of Yegan Road, at the Apple Creek Bridge. Station 2 - Located on 66th St SE, just south of Apple Creek Road, at the Apple Creek Bridge. Station 3 - Located approximately 6 ½ miles east of Bismarck on Hwy 10 at the Apple Creek Bridge. Station 4 - Located on 158th St NE, approximately 1 mile north of the I-94 interchange at Menoken. Station 5 - Located on 191St NE, approximately ½ mile north of 30th Ave NE, and is often referred to as the "Maher Box". Station 6 - Located on 249th St NE, approximately 5 miles north of 30th Ave NE, or I-94. It is also referred to as the McKenzie haul road. Station 7 - Located on 136th Ave NE, approximately 1/2 mile east of 275th St NE, it is commonly referred to as the Patterson Ranch Bridge. Station 8 - Located on 184th St NE, approximately 1/2 mile north of 149th Ave NE, it is commonly referred to as the Harold McCormick Bridge. Station 9 - Located on 201st Ave NE, (The Baldwin Road) approximately 1/2 mile east of 145th St NE, it is commonly referred to as the Doug Schonert Bridge. Station 10 - Located on County Hwy 10 approximately 1 mile west of the town of McKenzie. Station 11 - Located on 236th St SE, approximately 1/4 mile south of 34th Ave SE, (Lincoln Road) it is commonly referred to as the Wade Anderson Bridge. Station 12 - Located on 275th St SE, approximately 1/4 mile north of 62nd Ave SE, it is commonly referred to as the Adams Bridge. Station 13 - Located on Hwy 83, approximately 1/2 mile north of 102nd Ave SE, or just north of the Moffit County shop. Station 14 - Located on 223rd St NE between 43rd Ave NE and 136th Ave NE, approximately 3 miles north of 43rd Ave NE, it is commonly referred to as the Bliss Crossing.
